21st International BuskerBus Street Art Festival

The festival brings buskers from all around the world, both solo artists and ensembles representing a variety of street art disciplines.

From 19th to 20th August, Wrocław’s Market Square is going to transform into a massive stage for street artists from all around the world. More than 20 theatre teams will present a large variety of artistic disciplines. There will be live music, fire shows, belly dance shows, aerial hoop acrobatic shows, balloon tricks, juggling shows and balancing pole shows and manipulation.

Artists from the Czech Republic, Greece, Japan, France, New Zealand and many other countries are going to present their skills. Five tram stops are going to serve as stages for each artist to perform at least one or twice a day.

Przejście Żelaźnicze, next to the CaféTHEA, will offer juggling workshops, meet-the-artist sessions and circus jam sessions. Klub PROZA at Przejście Garncarskie 2 is going to feature a unique show called BuskerBus Kabaret,

combining juggling, dance, theatre and music. The artists are going to prove that all these disciplines can be brought together. They are going to present their best tricks and spontaneous shows that never stop to surprise the audience. All this will be accompanied by intriguing and impressive music. The grand jam session featuring celebrities and local artist is already a tradition. Each BuskerBus Kabaret is unique. Each event is available free of charge. With no barriers and seats available, it is worth taking a sleeping mat to enjoy the show comfortably.

Please bear in mind that street artists make a living by what they receive from the audience. Don’t forget to reward the artists with money, applause and smiles. The more energy you give, the more energy you’ll receive.

The festival is subsidised by the Municipality of Wrocław.
