Art WORK. Artists from Poland and Ukraine on their pursuits
The exhibition examines the current standing of the art work with its ambiguity, inconclusive nature and symbolic, spiritual and material capital.
Art WORK is an exhibition featuring works from 26 Polish and 34 Ukrainian artists. The space of nearly 10 thousand square metres showcases 55 projects from contemporary Polish and Ukrainian artists. The main goal of the exhibition is to unravel the ambiguous relationship between artists and the art market in the era of crisis and global geopolitical conflict and shifting moods in society.
Art WORK explores the ambiguity inherent in the word WORK, which covers a variety of meanings, including making a living, elusive conceptual and creative processes, tangible artefacts and intangible artistic forms.
