The exhibition features the 800 years of Jewish history in Central and Eastern Europe. It provides a depiction of Jewish life in Wrocław from the Middle Ages the Jewish-German Enlightenment, the complete annihilation of the Jewish community under Nazi-German rule, post-war Communist times and contemporary democratic Poland. "History Regained" is featured at the first matroneum of the renovated White Stork Synagogue, where the exhibition is on permanent display.
