The winner of the third prize of XVII International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, Kate Liu is going to perform in Wrocław for the first time. Professor Marek Dyżewski said about Liu that „she’s the most outstanding Chopin’s student , when he’s outside the world” and Dorota Szwarcman, known music critic, said that pianists like her are once in a blue moon. „I hope that Liu will be appreciated in the world, regardless of the competition, because she’s a person whose performances are real and unique” – added Szwarcman
