A live show from one of the most celebrated contemporary jazz saxophonists. Kenny Garrett and his ensemble are going to perform on 18th October at Impart’s theatre hall in a concert promoting their latest LP “Do Your Dance”.

Kenny Garrett

A native of Detroit, Kenny Garrett has an impressive collection of fice Grammy Awards to his name and one separate Grammy Award as a member of the Five Peace Band featuring Chick Corea and John McLaughlin.

Garrett has collaborated with a lot of big names in the jazz industry, including the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Freddie Hubbard, Woody Shaw, Donald Byrd and Miles Davis, as well as more contemporary performers such as Marcus Miller, Sting, MeShell Ndegeocello, Q-Tip and Cameo.

His shows always follow the same scenario: the spirit of music pervades the listener, who finds it natural to reflect it in their movement. Garrett has witnessed the spirit while performing on stage globally. The artist is now harnessing it as an inspiration to his latest LP Do Your Dance!, which is his fourth to be released by Mack Avenue Records.
