Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks in NFM
We’ll have the possibility to listen to a touching cycle of the Kindertotenlieder songs of Gustav Mahler, one of the compositions of Czech, modern music artists – Vladimir Sommer.
The NFM’s main hall is famous for its excellent acoustic but also for permormances of world stars. After successful concerts e.g. Wiener Philharmoniker, London Symphony Orchestra or Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, It’s time for the next guests – in the National Forum of Music will perform Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks.
We’ll have the possibility to listen to a touching cycle of the Kindertotenlieder songs of Gustav Mahler, one of the compositions of Czech, modern music artists – Vladimir Sommer and also, in the final, Symphonic Dances op. 45, one of the biggest compositions of Sergey Rachmaninov. Created in 1940, the work is considered by the biographers of the composer as a kind of „musical farewell” and a summary of the symphonic works of „the last Mohican of the Russian music”. In the individual parts of the song we can hear Russian folk and graceful Waltz, but also somber melody of Dies irae
