TANTZ, TANTZ! Hawdala Festival

The Di Galitzyaner Klezmorim band refers to the tradition of klezmer music. Apart from performing songs based on original klezmer melodies, the band composes increasingly more songs of their own.

According to Jewish tradition, it will begin after sunset. It is the time of Hawdala, which concludes Sabbath and starts a new week. Hawdala means separation in Hebrew – it is a ritual of passage between sacrum and profanum. Jewish music is an essential complement to the Hawdala blessing. Before the concert, a short prayer will be said at the conclusion of Sabbath.

Band members:

  •  Mariola Śpiewak – clarinet,
  •  Grzegorz Śpiewak – accordion,
  • Rafał Seweryniak – double bass.

Tickets: 35 PLN – full price, 25 PLN – discount price (schoolchildren, students, seniors).
