Holmes Place, or top notch fitness club

Holmes Place, or Wrocław's first ultra-premium fitness club, was launched the other week at OVO Wrocław, Level -1. The club belongs in a network of 80 facilities active in Europe and the Middle East that all come under one brand: Holmes Place Health Club. The network is unique for a variety of reasons. You are provided with fingerprint access control at the entrance. Once in you can use a treadmill propelled by your own body, perform ballet-inspired exercises, join folatfit classes and use a private concierge service. You probably have never been to a fitness club like that.

The first club in the network was launched in 1979 in London, so it is quite easy to guess where the names comes from. The name rings a bell for all the good reasons. The first club was located in London's Sherlock Holmes Road.

Secondly, the wet zone offers an infinity pool where folatfit classes are held. Each class takes 30 minutes and combines high intensity interval training with muscle and coordination building. The zone also has both dry and steam sauna and a Jacuzzi. "We are extremely particular about every single detail that might affect the comfort of our users. Our members can also use swimwear dryers and chilled towels," says Iwona Starek, Wrocław's Holmes Place Manager.

Thirdly, there is also a hangout zone with freshly ground coffee available. You can kick back in an armchair or play billiards.

Members can also relax while having a munchy or a cocktail composed by nutrition specialists.
