It is the only opera in Poland, which since 1997 has presented “supershows”, spectacles prepared in unconventional, big spaces for thousands of spectators, with hundreds of performers and using monumental sceneries and special effects. Usually, they take place in the Centennial Hall (H.

Wrocław Opera also presents open-air shows, as spectacular as the regular ones. The greatest performance took place in June 2003 when “Gioconda” was presented on the Oder. More than 30 thousand spectators saw the six spectacles
