Among the films to be screened at the 9th American Film Festival there will be, e.g., the latest work by Gus Van Sant (Good Will Hunting, Elephant) entitled Don’t Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot – a story of John Callahan, one of the most famous American cartoonists, who was known for his sharp wit; he is played by Joaquin Phoenix. We also recommend watching a retrospective of Hollywood rebel Hal Ashby.
This year’s innovation will also be a more convenient ticket booking system, which is based on the model used at the New Horizons Festival. The sale of all-day tickets will begin at the beginning of September. The 9th American Film Festival will last from 23rd till 28th October.
