Tomasz Mreńca was born in Poznan, in 1986. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw and is a versatile artist–musician, violinist and composer. He is a creator of individual and collaborative projects, the author of music for theater performances, fashion shows and installations. He creates spatial music using acoustic and electronic sounds, which is hard to unambiguously classify. He draws from many genres. His compositions are often based on complex, overlapping violin parts. He uses both analog and acoustic violin in his work as well as synthesizers, footswitches, loopers and various processors, affecting the sound of instruments.
Tomasz Mreńca’s concert calling card are moody and melancholic compositions, broken with violent violin improvisations. Hior Chronik Mieszkający obecnie w Berlinie Hior Chronik urodził się w Atenach w 1974 roku. Jego związek z muzyką rozpoczął się, gdy na początku lat dziewięćdziesiątych pracował jako producent w radiu Jazz.fm oraz felietonista dla różnych czasopism muzycznych. Zaczął tworzyć muzykę około siedem lat temu i dziś skupia się głównie na minimalistycznym ambiencie bazującym głównie na pianinie, charakteryzującym się "kinematografią", melancholią, porozrzucanymi nutami oraz długimi melodiami tworzącymi ekspresywne połączenia. Jego muzykę można usłyszeć w wielu filmach, dokumentach i artystycznych perfomance'ach. Rok 2017 był bardzo produktywny dla Hior Chronik. Kolejne wydawnictwo w kolaboracji z Arovane (Into my wont) wydane w maju 2017r., oraz kolejne solowe wydawnictwo "Out of the dust" wydane w grudniu 2017r. Based in Berlin, Hior Chronik was born in Athens in 1974.
His relationship with music started when he was working as a radio producer for Jazz.fm in the early 90s’ and as a columnist for various music magazines. He began creating music about 7 years ago and today his focus is on minimal ambient based mainly on piano, characterized by cinematography, melancholy, scattered notes and long melodies that form expressive engagements. His music is featured in various films, documentaries as well as art performance. The year 2017 is the most productive one for Hior Chronik. Another one release with Arovane called "Into my wont" released last May and his personal solo work for 7K! Label "Out of the dust" last December.
