Berliner Philharmoniker for the first time in the National Forum of Music! One of the world’s most famous orchestras will present the music of the first half of the 20th century. The ensemble will perform under the baton of the Canadian conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

The exceptional encounter with Berliner Philharmoniker will start with the charming La mer (The Sea) by Claude Debussy. These three unique symphonic sketches depict seaside paintings and, at the same time, leave plenty of room for the listener’s imagination.
The second part of the concert will be filled with Symphony no. 5 in B Major by Sergei Prokofiev. This work was written within only one month in 1944. Composed in the last years of the war, it seems to convey a hint of hope that emerges from the sounds like a smile through tears.
