Die Sammlung: exhibition of works from the OP ENHEIM / ABIS collection

A collection of works of art is not only a collection of artistic objects, but also a record of passion, the need to commune with art and the world's condition.

It is a story of the development, multidimensionality and diversity of the world art of the second half of the 20th century, particularly German, Polish and American art.

Curator: Kama Wróbel

The exhibition in the spaces of OP ENHEIM will present, among others, Robert Rauchenberg’s paintings in the spirit of combine painting or works by Reiner Fetting and Berndt Koberling referring to the Neue Wilde environment focused around the Gallery at Moritzplatz. The rehabilitation of war motifs will be present in works by Anselm Kiefer and Wim Wenders, whereas paintings by Teresa Pągowska, Rajmund Ziemski and Roman Opałka will tell us about the pursuit of oneself and a new means of expression in postwar Poland and Europe. Contemporary motifs (Wilhelm Sasnal, Rafał Bujnowski, Ina Gerken) or feminine art themes (Marie-jo Lafointaine, Claudia Hart) will not be missing, either.
