Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław – The Festival of Painting
For all of those who are interested in artistic experiences the 3rd Festival of Painting will open its doors to the painting studios; shows and workshops presenting painting techniques and methods will also take place.
The Festival of Painting is an event organized by the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture of the E. Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
For all of those who are interested in artistic experiences the 3rd Festival of Painting will open its doors to the painting studios; shows and workshops presenting painting techniques and methods will also take place. To satisfy the needs of visitors in various age groups – this year the workshops are prepared and aimed at everyone (including children) as well as for particular age groups.
Schedule:
- 15:00-20:00 Open air workshops (limited participants)
- 15:00-24:00 Workshops in painting studios, e.g. Venetian technique, painting on silk, study of still lifes, model study (limited participants)
- 15:00-24:00 Painting exhibition
- 15:00-20:00 Painting faces - Great Masters / Great Masterpieces on children's faces
- 20:00-24:00 Multimedia shows
- 22:00-24:00 Jam Session
Program for children
Some of the activities in the Festival of Painting are aimed especially at children and youth in response to the need to be creative through art, which takes place from the earliest stages of children's development. During the Festival children will be engaged in various painting tasks, take part in workshops in studios and outdoors, under the eyes of teachers and students of the Academy (e.g. learning about painting techniques, stencil workshops and painting on clothes).
