Fashion is another exhibition from the collection of the American photographer Milton H. Greene, called a ‘color photography’s wonder boy’, who won fame as a photographer of the biggest Hollywood stars, including Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, in the 1950s and 1960s.

Purchased by the Centennial Hall in 2014, the collection of over 3,000 original photographs by Milton H. Greene has already been presented seven times: four times in Wroclaw and once in Warsaw, Kraków and Kołobrzeg. The abundance of motifs in these works naturally leads to the organisation of separate exhibitions.

The Centennial Hall invites you to watch an exceptional exhibition about fashion. It is a quintessence of Milton H. Greene’s creative output – all experiences of the author as an artist, reporter and excellent observer of life are accumulated in the presented photographs. Greene knows very well that a fashion show is a theatrical performance with a stage, a director, actresses, costumes, light and music.

The exhibition in the Imperial Room of the Centennial Hall consists of over 130 photographs.
