Every year during a ceremony of the Epiphany of the Lord, called the Feast of The Three Kings, residents of Wroclaw meet at a predefined place, Ostrów Tumski, to spend joyful time and join the procession with the Three Kings. In the majority, children and their parents create the procession. Students will be dressed in colorful costumes prepared by their parents, co-creating characters of maidservants, knights from different parts of the world, squires, courtiers and Messengers of the Kings. This year fifty actors are going to join the march as a Queen Jadwiga’s courtiers (because 2017 is her year). The audience can join that event through wearing the crown. Doffing it in front of the small stable will be a sign of the tribute to the Real King.
Every participant of the Procession of the Three Kings will receive song-book of the Christmas carols. One of the most beautiful tradicions during Christmas time, joyful carolling, will take place in conclusion of the Procession. Christmas carols will be initiated by a band Joszko Broda i Dzieci z Brodą (the beginning about 1:30 pm).
