The 1980s is a colourful period – for some people, it is memorable and important due to the flourishing of extreme music. It was the time of formation of bands that built and developed these music genres both around the world and in Poland.
The leading representatives of this decade in Poland are indisputably KAT from Silesia (speed/thrash/black metal), Acid Drinkers from Poznań (thrash metal) and Vader from Olsztyn (death/thrash metal). Kat’s repertoire is currently played live by the band called Kat & Roman Kostrzewski. Those three Polish metal legends will join forces on a joint tour and will perform together at four concerts. Their special guest will be Quo Vadis – the band that celebrated its 30th anniversary a few months ago.
