National Museum reopens to visitors from 12th May

Three branches of the National Museum in Wroclaw (main building, Racławice Panorama and Ethnographic Museum) will be open to visitors from Tuesday 12th May and the Four Domes Pavilion will be available from Friday 15th May.

What you must know before sightseeing

  • Wear a mask on your face.
  • Undergo a body temperature test (by means of a remote non-contact thermometer).
  • Disinfect your hands under the disinfectant dispenser placed beside the entrance (they will also be available close to restrooms).
  • Buy a ticket (magnetic card payment is strongly recommended).
  • Show your ticket (from a distance of 2 metres) to the person checking its validity.
  • Move around only within strictly marked transport routes (the ground floor and the direct entrance to the second floor, where two permanent galleries of Polish and European art are available).
  • Keep the required distance between visitors and the supervision personnel (minimum 2 metres of interval) in all gallery rooms.
  • No more than 5 persons are allowed to stay in one room at the same time (the supervision personnel will strictly monitor compliance with the limit of 15 square metres per one visitor).
  • In the case of the vault and the exhibition Art Nouveau Goes Metal, only one visitor is allowed to stay in this room at the same time (others have to wait in front of the entrance to this room in 2-metre intervals)
  • Comply in full with all remarks and instructions of the supervision personnel
  • Do not use the lift
  • Remember that the bookshop and the café are closed – shopping is possible in the museum’s online bookshop.
  • The rules of watching exhibits remain the same: do not approach them too close, do not touch them and do not photograph them with a tripod or a flash.

National Museum in Wroclaw

  • Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m.
  • We invite you to see two permanent exhibitions: Polish Art of the 17th–19th, European Art of the 15th–20th c. and one temporary exhibition: Art Nouveau Goes Metal

Racławice Panorama Museum

  • Open from Tuesday to Sunday. The first presentation is held at 10:00 a.m., the last one at 5:00 p.m.

Ethnographic Museum

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m.

  • Two exhibitions will be available: the permanent exhibition Lower Silesians – memory, culture, identity and the temporary exhibition The Village of Sokolniki near Lvov in Archival Photographs

Four Domes Pavilion Museum of Contemporary Art

  • Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m.
  • One permanent exhibition Collection of Polish art from the second half of the 20th and early 21st century will be open, and efforts are under way to prolong the temporary exhibition Opus Magnum.
