The original item has reached Wroclaw from Los Angeles only this week and it will be available only at the exhibition in the basement of Plac Solny in MovieGate.

Captain America’s First Shield was the weapon of the main protagonist Steve Rogers played by Matt Salinger in 1990.
The Marvel Comics series does not seem to need any recommendation. The main character of the Captain America Comics was intended to personify the patriotism and military power of the USA. At the beginning, it was used for propaganda purposes (on the cover of its debut comic, it punches Adolf Hitler in the face with his fist).
The candidates for the title role included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Val Kilmer and Dolph Lundgren, but Schwarzenegger spoke with an inadequate accent, and Lundgren was busy working on the film set of The Punisher.
The shield – the white star pattern – is painted manually and set against a blue background. The star is entwined with white and red rings – all colours refers to the flag of the USA, which is already emphasised by the character’s patriotic attitude. The shield is in excellent condition, with minor red leakages on the circles that indicate the manual performance of the work. You must see it for yourself.
