St. John’s Fair 2019
St. John’s Night, the time of the longest day of the year, became an inspiration and leitmotiv for organising a fair.
As the organisers write, St. John’s Fair will be held from 21st May till 28th June.
Where?
St. John’s Fair will be held on the Wroclaw Market Square in the area around the Pillory, Oławska street from Szewska street to the Market Square and Świdnicka street from the underpass to the Market Square.
How?
At St. John's Fair, things will be sold only from wooden houses. It will not be possible to sell things from tents or food trucks or to set up individual displays and sell things outside the house.
What’s in the assortment?
Industrial products, handiwork and craft – home-made artistic products, decorations, pottery, jewellery, natural soaps and cosmetics, handmade toys from natural materials, regional (also highlanders’) products, commemorative mugs with an overprint, souvenirs, glass products, candles, metalwork, haberdashery, bags, artistic clothes.
Food products – regional cheeses and smoked meats, breads and baked goods, jams, honeys, cordials, chocolate products and sweets, herbs and spices, coffees and teas, natural and vegan products.
