Stare Dobre Małżeństwo is the most recognisable group on the Polish sung poetry and folk ballad scene; for over three decades it has been led by Krzysztof Myszkowski – a charismatic singer, composer and lyricist with a student background.
SDM’s new album entitled Blizny czasu [The Blisters of Time] is another intimate story of the group’s leader weaved from intimate self-observations. It was created in harmony with the artist’s own conscience and according to subjective canons of wisdom and beauty.
This legendary band functions outside the range of all influences and mainstream media, and its performances are attractions on a previously unencountered scale. Stare Dobre Małżeństwo regularly fills the biggest and most prestigious concert halls in Poland. The band’s audience grows together with musicians and faithfully follows them, which is the greatest of all possible virtues.
