As usual, the last weekend of the holiday period in Wroclaw is reserved for concerts from the wRock for Freedom – Rock Legends cycle.
As usual, the last weekend of the holiday period in Wroclaw is reserved for concerts from the wRock for Freedom – Rock Legends cycle that are held in the Zajezdnia History Centre (the former bus depot) at ul. Grabiszyńska – a place close to the hearts of Wroclaw inhabitants, where the Lower Silesian Solidarity movement was born in August 1980.
Apocalyptica
The Finnish band returns to Wroclaw to play at the wROCK For Freedom festival.
Until today, Apocalyptica has recorded eight enthusiastically acclaimed albums that have sold in over 4 million copies around the world. The band is liked not only by heavy metal fans, but also by lovers of classical music – it offers an euphoric musical feast to both of these groups. Covers of Metallica songs, musical tributes to Wagner with accompaniment by an international symphony orchestra, collaboration with members of Slipknot, Soulfly, Slayer, H.I.M. and Bush – thanks to their boundless imagination, Finnish musicians can reconcile various music genres in the way nobody else has done before.
Apart from them, Polish bands Illusion and Luxtorpeda will perform.
