He trains at Hotel Śląsk! He came here with the Polish national team of weightlifters during the World Weightlifting Championships held in Wrocław in October 20

There are legends saying that "the dwarf's father was the former Olympian and Silesian weightlifter, World and European Championship medallist, and currently Vice-President of the Polish Weightlifting Association, Mariusz Jędra, from whom the statue inherited the characteristic facial features”.

Exactly 100 years ago, the 19th World Weightlifting Championships were held in the Centennial Hall. A century has passed and the event will once again take place within the walls of this Wrocław venue. The dwarf is constantly holding a huge weight over his head, but as befits a true sportsman, he keeps his cool and shows no signs of fatigue.

Originally the dwarf was to live at the gates of the Centennial Hall, but it was finally decided that after the championships he would settle permanently at the Śląsk Hotel, the most sporty hotel facility in our city.
