Dryndek (Dialler)

Dwarfs are folk who respect tradition and are averse to technical innovations. However, one of them appreciates the opportunities created by telecommunications

Dryndek began his adult life as an assistant to Gołębnik. He was in charge of the dwarven mail, which he carried on pigeon backs. He realised that often bird transport does not allow mail to travel fast enough. In his search for faster ways to transmit information, he began to observe the Big People.

He saw that they often talked to mysterious machines that resembled bananas in shape. He quickly realised that, in fact, these devices were used by the Big People for long-distance conversations.

The first attempts to use the invention were unsuccessful. It turned out that the dwarfs' small stature worked against him that time. He simply was unable to hold the handset and dial the number at the same time.

However, with his technical sense, he managed to create his own phones adapted to dwarf size. He took up his new hobby of helping dwarven network users. He chose a booth next to the Dialog telephony on the Wrocław Market Square as his headquarters.

Dryndek is currently interested in new ways of communication. He insisted for the Dwarf Council to consider connecting the little folk's farms to the internet.
