However, members of the Dwarf Fire Brigade tend to avoid publicity. The work of firefighters in cities is difficult and dangerous, and in the city of dwarfs it is heroic. In an underground city full of corridors and hollows, firefighting operations must be particularly difficult. The dwarfs themselves say little about it, mentioning only that when it comes to fire, the little inhabitants are very careful.
Gasiorek also appeared in Wrocław without much publicity. One of the commanders of the Dwarf Fire Brigade can be met in front of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wrocław. Although, unlike most dwarfs, he resides outside the city centre, he is equally effective in reminding everyone how similar dwarf problems are to ours.
