Germazowy Onkuś

The figurine, co-created with little patients of the Bone Marrow Transplantation, Oncology and Paediatric Haematology Clinic of the Wrocław Medical Academy, was designed by Beata Zwoleńska Hołod, who is the author of many Wrocław dwarves. Onkuś in one hand holds the symbol of life - a heart.

It was clear from the outset that Onkuś would be put up for auction and the proceeds would go towards building new facilities for the oncology clinic. The lucky owner of Onkuś, as a result of the charity auction, is Dom Samochodowy Germaz, which is now Onkuś's new home.
