Harfuś
A quick hello to you all! My name is Harfuś and I am the only dwarf in Wrocław who rides a bike and for whom cycling is the whole world.
You're probably wondering why I love to ride my bike so much. The answer is quite simple: like every dwarf, I am tiny and have short legs. For two steps of a man I take twenty (if you wear stilettos - then eighteen). When the city felines make four steps, I take twelve (a little less when they take my hat for a mouse's tail). Two jumps of the crow are equal to three of mine (but they are the same when running to a dropped candy). Three dog leaps make my thirty steps (I am not talking about miniature dogs in jumpers, these naturally put their paws much closer together, but most often they are carried in the arms of their owners).
And yet there are so many interesting things to see! How do you manage to go everywhere, being such a tiny creature with short legs? How do you say a simple hello to your friends in the immediate vicinity? These steps of mine could be in their thousands! The bike is the best way for me to get where I want to be. In the evening I pop across the Oder river and when it gets cooler return to the heated stones of the Wrocław Market Square. And I no longer have to fear cats so much! Life is a fairy tale! And most importantly: none of my little friends have yet managed to visit us all in one day! That’s called being fit!
