Klaun (Clown)

A big heart for children, inexhaustible reserves of optimism and humour, and a great desire to help...

This is the shortest way to describe Klaun, one of the most kind-hearted dwarfs in Wrocław.

Klaun came to Wrocław with a mission to cheer up small patients of the Haematology Clinic. As he has a huge heart, he decided to put his comedic talents to good use by accompanying children through their difficult hospital stay. It will hardly surprise anyone that he quickly became their favourite.

Together with female dwarf Marzenka, who makes children's dreams come true, he lifts the spirits of the Clinic's little patients. His pranks and mischief can bring a smile to the face of even the most gloomy person. His kind heart and openness quickly won him the love of large and small people, as well as of other dwarfs.

When he's not running around among children, messing about or making faces, he goes to the Market Square to visit Życzliwek or greet tourists strolling around the Old Town. However, the easiest way to meet him is in front of the entrance to the Children's Oncology and Haematology Clinic of the Medical Academy, where he spends most of his time handing out smiles.

As a hopeless optimist, Klaun the Dwarf has always been very sociable, attracting all those who need attention and comfort. Anyone can share their worries with him to hear some kind comforting words in return. However, it is not proper to bother him too often, so that he can devote as much time as possible to children, for whom he came to Wrocław...
