There are four of them: Plumplumek, Bulbulek, Ratuś and Helpik. Swimmers by avocation, lifeguards by vocation, they guard safety in the swimming pools of the Wrocław Spa Centre.

Water sports enthusiasts who were brought together years ago by a common passion - swimming. Plumplumek and Bulbulek are a pair of excellent divers who spend their days at the pool. They gained their first aquatic skills while diving in the Odra river, but the dangers lurking there made them dive into the safe waters of the pools of Wrocław Spa Centre.

Helpik and Ratuś are excellent swimmers whose vigilance has saved pool users many times. The two dwarfs work together perfectly: one whistles, raising the alarm, and the other fishes out the unfortunates with a rescue stick. Their help is greatly appreciated by professional lifeguards, with whom the dwarfs like to chat in their free time.

Spa guests have also become accustomed to their presence and feel much more comfortable knowing that four watchful pairs of eyes are watching over their safety. Many regular visitors to the Centre admit without hesitation that since the appearance of the pool dwarves, the place has gained a unique charm.
