Patio of the Institute of Philology
In the 1990s, another renovation of the seat of the Faculty of Philology began. Its last stage was the renovation of the former patio. Today, it is a green, sunny place with a gazebo and benches, surrounded by decorative bushes.
Students in other fields can envy their fellows from German and Polish studies such a beautiful place to relax between classes. The 13th century building of the former Franciscan monastery has undergone numerous renovations and at the turn of the 17th and 18th century was rebuilt completely. For a time, it was the seat of the High National Court. Philologists have been studying here since the mid-1960s.
