The figure of over 2.5m brass girl is located near the entrance to Galeria Dominikańska and the underground passage Przejście Oławskie.

It can resemble Pippi Longstocking. Just as the protagonist of Astrid Lindgren’s novel, the girl has pointy braids and a fancy dress. Frivolous smile and a flower held behind her backs symbolises a nice surprise.

According to the author, it is a personification of the female element of Wrocław: dynamism, resilience and coquettish modesty. In the slenderness of the girl one can find the reference to perpendicularity of Wrocław Gothic.
