Great return of the Wroclaw Multimedia Fountain
One of Wroclaw’s biggest attractions has returned after the winter break. On 15th May, the modernised Wroclaw Multimedia Fountain started a new season in a full multimedia version. This year’s show will also be enriched with a new special display.

Europe on the Fork Festival 2022
After two years of break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Wroclaw’s culinary festival Europe on the Fork 2022 returns! The first European feast was held on 4th June 2009, when Wroclaw celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first free parliamentary election in Poland. The patron of the event is its originator Robert Makłowicz. This year we will meet at one table under the slogan: ‘Appetite for good relations. A joint meal unites, delights and reconciles us’, because 2022 is the Year of Good Relations.

Aula Leopoldina: New shine of the pearl of baroque architecture. Reopened to visitors
Conservation works in Aula Leopoldina – a representative hall in the main building of the University of Wroclaw – lasted six years. The effect of works by over 100 specialists in monument renovation can be seen from Monday.

Racławice Panorama after modernisation
On 27th July, the Racławice Panorama was opened after its renovation. The huge painting of the Battle of Racławice was made in Lviv 126 years ago.

A field of sunflowers has grown up beside Well-wisher
A field of unusual sunflowers of LEGO® blocks has grown up beside the fountain at Pigeon Square [Plac Gołębi]. It was created under the vigilant eye of the Czech designer Libor Udržal, who – along with a team of four persons – used several thousand LEGO® blocks with the total weight of 68 kg to build sunflowers. It took 236 hours to create them!

Artists from Gentelmen’s Jazz Duo admirably promoted Wroclaw on their tour around Europe
They performed in the luxury district of Munich and in a small street leading to the Vatican, near the city office in Prague, in a Croatian port and the Hungarian city of Veszprem, which will soon become the European Capital of Culture. Two artists from Wroclaw toured a large part of Europe, playing concerts and promoting their home city.

The latest family guide prepared by the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesia Province and the Mamy Project [We Have a Project] collective invites us to take a family trip around exceptional places of Lower Silesia. The guide is free of charge. 10,000 copies have been printed, but anyone can have it – the map with attractions for kids is available online for everyone to print it by himself or to find an inspiration.
