3-Majówka Festival
Each year the long weekend brings the best bands to perform at the very heart of Wrocław, including top charters, veterans of the rock scene and emerging star performers.
Traditionally, 3-Majówka in Wrocław marks the beginning of the open-air music season in Poland. Each year the long weekend brings the best bands to perform at the very heart of Wrocław, including top charters, veterans of the rock scene and emerging star performers.
As the name suggests, the festival will be held from 1–3 May 2017. As with last year, feel free to join the show at the scenic and leafy surroundings of Pergola and the Centennial Hall complex, which is Wrocław's major landmark and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Last year, the event was combined with the Guinness Guitar World Record, which traditionally takes place on 1 May in Wrocław, so it is only natural that guitar giants are featured in the line-up of 3-Majówki 2017. A staggering number of 7,356 guitar players made an attempt to set the record last year, and even more are expected to join the effort in May.
The shows will be held on two separate stages: at Pergola, which provides a leafy and aquatic surrounding and commands wonderful view on the largest and most beautiful fountain in Poland, and at the Centennial Hall, a destination for celebrated artist performing in Wrocław and a great place to enjoy the show until late at night. The two stages guarantee more artists and better choice. Located in the vicinity, the Festival Camp will be also there to accommodate the audience from outside of Wrocław.
