3-Majówka Festival 2019

This year’s 3-Majówka will be held on two open-air stages in the Centennial Hall and in the Wroclaw Conference Centre, where you can party till the small hours.

3-Majówka traditionally opens the season of open-air festivals in Poland. The biggest Wroclaw festival takes place from 1st till 3rd May. It is an absolutely unusual event, during which you can listen to world stars and top Polish artists, as well as new rising talents. For a year, the festival has been combined with the Guinness Guitar Record that quickly turned Wroclaw into the European Capital of Guitar. This year’s stars of 3-Majówka will play on two open-air stages in the Centennial Hall complex and in the Wroclaw Conference Centre, where you can party till the small hours.

This year the main stars of the event will be legendary British band Slade and former Nightwish vocalist Tarja Turunen from Finland. Slade are the kings of glam rock – in the 1970s, they sold the biggest number of singles among all British groups, including over 1 milion copies of their biggest hit “Merry Xmas Everybody”. They have been on stage for over half a century and, in spite of a few line-up changes, they have never gone on hiatus. Tarja Turunen is one of the best-known female artists in the world of metal and symphonic rock. She is famous for her stage charisma and amazing vocal capacity – her soprano encompasses three octaves.

Apart from them, a large number of top Polish bands and artists representing all kinds of music genres will perform: Kult, Decapitated, Ørganek, Łąki Łan, Pidżama Porno, Nocny Kochanek, Krzysztof Zalewski, Ania Dąbrowska, Happysad, Ira, O.S.T.R., Mela Koteluk, Mery Spolsky, Pablopavo i Ludziki, The Dumplings, the Albo Inaczej project and Flirtini.
