Winter fountain at Pergola
The fountain will shine on Saint Nicholas Day. The illumination will be available to visitors until the end of February 2020.
Among the Wroclaw festive illuminations that will shine on Friday 6th December, there will be also the Multimedia Fountain at the Pergola near the Centennial Hall.
Water jets will be replaced with a special installation of inflatable elements fixed on nozzles that will create an amazing colourful composition of flickering lights after dark. Marcin Hawranek, the head of the multimedia team in the Centennial Hall, explains: ‘This year, as usual, the fountain will operate also in the winter period – the only difference is that it will not contain water.
On the concrete surface of the fountain pool, we will install 70 inflatables illuminated from the bottom with the same colour lights that decorate water jets in summer. Our team worked on this installation for more than two weeks.’
The fountain will shine on Saint Nicholas Day. The illumination will be available to visitors until the end of February 2020.
