Krasnale z Gildii Kupieckiej (Dwarfs of the Merchant's Guild)
This time we are celebrating as many as seven Dwarfs. Bracia O’Hurt, Zakupek, Promocjusz and Przecennik are the most prominent members of the Merchant's Guild.
They are known for their distant travels and unusual adventures. We have already mentioned the Merchants' Guild when describing Kupczyk, who is its honorary advisor. The seven who reside by the EPI store are from a slightly younger generation, but the Dwarfs are not about to argue about a few decades.
The first mention of the Merchant's Guild can be found in the dwarven chronicles. They date from the time of the formation of the Hanseatic League in Europe. It was the Guild that was to be the prototype of the union of merchant cities created in medieval Europe. It was also then that dwarfs became more settled in Wrocław, which, as we know, belonged to the Hanseatic League.
The Hanseatic League, unfortunately, has not stood the test of time, while the Dwarf Merchant Guild is not only doing well, but is welcoming new members who are making ever further and even more exciting journeys around the world.
We hope to persuade one of the Guild members to describe their merchant adventures in the near future.
