Latałek (Flyer)
He has always been a big dreamer who enjoyed travelling - so it's no surprise that his biggest dream was... to travel to the moon.
Once he found out that the only space-plane leaves the Copernicus Airport in Wrocław at high noon...
Apparently information about the plane, supposedly heading for the moon, was given to him by a prankster... However, Latałek believed the miraculous story and, without much thought, packed his suitcase and said goodbye to his family.
Always kind, gentle and dreamy, Latałek had only one flaw - he liked to sleep. Fearing for the fate of his wonderful trip, he set all the alarm clocks he had in the house before going to bed. Unfortunately, he also overslept that day when he was supposed to fly to the moon.
He arrived 10 minutes too late and cried... Tears were pouring down his face and the disappointed dwarf could not accept the thought that he would not make the journey of his lifetime... Since then, Latałek has been standing at the airport frozen in time, hoping that another such space-plane will arrive.
Like any dwarf he likes to be useful, so in the meantime he gives lost travellers information about flight schedules, delays and the layout of the airport. He is probably the only dwarf in Wrocław who, still living out of a suitcase, never travels anywhere...
