Ortopeda is Wrocław's newest doctor dwarf. He has only been in the city since February 2015.

He came to us for the Congress of the Polish Orthopaedic Society and liked Wrocław so much that he decided to stay permanently. He helps admit dwarf patients at the University Hospital in Borowska Street.

Ortopeda the Dwarf (Crasnallus Ortopedicus) marked the 40th Scientific Congress of the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Optopeda was installed in front of the entrance to the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław. He was placed on a stone and leans against Nicolas Andra tree, which symbolises the child's spine. Ortopeda in general owes his name to the Latin term "ortos” = simple and "pais’ = child.

The dwarf has been living at the USK Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System since September last year. He can now be seen by all hospital patients.
