The festival is all about tastings, but also includes stories about its history, genres and styles, and learning how to brew your own beer at home. Beer festivals stand out because of several key elements:

Eco-friendly approach – bailable eco-cups have largely eliminated single-use plastic from the festival grounds.
More than 150 exhibitors – breweries, ciders, other kraft beverages, foodtrucks and artisans presenting local products.
Educational zone – lectures, workshops, meetings with brewers and brewing experts.
Culinary zone and foodtrucks – cooking on stage, food tastings, inspirations combined with beer.
Origins of the Polish Beer Revolution – the premiere of “Attack of the Hops” beer by Pinta Brewery in 2011 took place right at the WFDP – a historic event for the kraft beer scene in Poland.

Deadline and location:

The first four editions were held in the atmospheric Leśnicki Castle. However, growing popularity, more and more guests and exhibitors caused the festival to move to the esplanade of the Wroclaw Stadium in 2014. This gave it a new space to develop the program and expand the offer of beer and gastronomic inspirations. The festival can always be expected in the second half of June.
