The Wrocław Dwarf Festival is an annual festival for children. Wroclaw dwarves have become a symbol of the city especially beloved by the youngest residents, so in September we invite you to the Market Square for a grand parade and to the Old Town Park for competitions, theatrical performances, performance readings and plenty of other attractions.

  • For school and preschool children, who can come to the Festival as organized groups with their caregivers from care and educational institutions.
  • For school and preschool children accompanied by parents, families or legal guardians.
  • For tourists who are visiting Wroclaw with their families at this time.

Duration

The festival generally lasts three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and happens mainly:

  • on the Wrocław Market Square (procession/parade)
  • On the grounds of the Old Town Park next to the Puppet Theater.

Dwarf procession

A merry parade featuring a juggler, a gentleman on stilts and a brass band.

Theatrical performances and workshops

A fairy tale with Wrocław dwarves-muppets by graduates of Wroclaw's PWST. A show of Jas the dwarf, or family theater. Mini-cinema with live music - fairy tales for the youngest accompanied by a multi-instrumentalist; Impro mini-performances - be not only spectators, but also creators of the show; fairy tale reading - Wroclaw actors from the Capitol Musical Theater will read fairy tales to you.

Joint search for dwarfs

Walk through the market in search of dwarves (start at the Fredro statue). For children aged 5-10 (+ guardians).

Silent Disco

Dwarf Silent Disco for adult dwarves from 9 pm evenly until midnight.
