Sakura in Japanese means cherry tree, as well as the cherry blossom itself, whose blooming signifies the arrival of spring. It is at this time of year that Zarzewie Foundation and Kokyu Studio open the hospitable spaces of the Grotowski Institute and invite you to spend time together
The aim is to present the relationship of Japanese culture with Polish and European culture, and their mutual influences on the grounds of art, physical culture in the broadest sense, spiritual practice, philosophy, literature, science, as well as business. The creators of the festival want to present the fascinating world of Japan not only as exotic and distant, but also as one that exists right next door and influences native artists and representatives of local culture.

For a wide audience who are fascinated by the Far East. Lovers of art, philosophy, spirituality are sure to find something for themselves. The festival’s events are mainly aimed at an adult audience.
