24th July: Deadlift at the NFM
Real strongmen enter the scene on Monday 24th July. Powerlifting involves three disciplines: Squat, Benchpress and Deadlift. Men’s and Women’s Light and Medium Class will be held from 10.30 am on the Monday.

Countdown to The World Games 2017

Foundations of New Synagogue Unearthed
Destroyed in 1938, Wrocław\'s New Synagogue had a capacity of 2000 faithful and was the second largest in prewar Germany. Archaeologists have recently unearthed the foundations of the building in ul Łąkowa.

Europe on a Fork 2017 in Wrocław
It has been nine years already since Piotr Bikont came up with an idea to create the Europe on a Fork Festival. The idea caught on with Mayor of Wrocław Rafał Dutkiewicz, who organises an annual feast in the Market Square for the residents and visitors alike. The festival celebrates a major watershed in Poland’s recent history, i.e., the free parliamentary election on 4th June 1989, while the organisers go out of their way to add new and different flavours to the menu.
