22nd - 24th November: „Poland See More: Weekend at Half-Price” initiative
Only in Lower Silesia are almost 100 attractions on offer: hotels, boarding houses, swimming pools, spas, museums and theatres. They will be available at half the usual price.
It is the 7th edition of the initiative held by the Polish Tourist Organisation and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. The “Poland See More" event takes place in spring and autumn every year. The goal of the organisers is to encourage inhabitants of Poland to sightsee the country also outside the tourist season. Hundreds of hotels, agrotourism farms, outdoor attractions and swimming pools invite guests for the weekend of 22nd - 24th November.
Almost 100 companies and institutions in Lower Silesia and in Wroclaw submitted their offers. Most invitations come from hotels, including those located in picturesque palaces and castles. There is also a wide choice of offers from boarding houses and agrotourism farms.
Museums (e.g., the Museum of Railway in Jaworzyna Śląska, the Museum of Pan Tadeusz in Wroclaw), theatres in Wroclaw and Jelenia Góra, indoor swimming pools and spa centres take part in the initiative, too. The offer encompasses also lots of sightseeing attractions, such as the Underground City Osówka, Fort Srebrna Góra, the Złoty Stok Goldmine, the lookout tower at Wielka Sowa, or the Julia Crystal Glass Factory.
