British tour operators and journalists choose Wroclaw

The Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) is one of the biggest tourist organisations in Great Britain.

Its members are tour operators who specialise in the sale of thematic holiday packages, and their offer is usually built on the basis of their personal experiences from trips to European countries and other areas of the world.

Every year many countries (regions and cities) compete for the organisation of this meeting of tourism market specialists and travel journalists. It is an opportunity for local partners to establish business contacts and promote themselves on the British market.

This year’s three-day AITO conference scheduled for November will be held in the capital of Lower Silesia. This decision is largely the result of efforts of the Polish Tourist Organisation (mainly the POT centre in London) and the Convention Bureau in Wroclaw.

The programme includes study tours in Wroclaw and around the region, industry meetings with local partners, and workshops.
