Car-sharing and scooter-sharing
It is the first electric car rental system of this kind in Poland. Users have 190 Nissan Leaf passenger cars and 10 VAN vehicles at their disposal. Instead of a key, it is enough to use a smartphone.
Important: in order to rent a car in the VOZILLA system, you have to register in it beforehand (for safety purposes, registration in at least one day's advance is recommended).
How does it work?
- each person who wants to rent a car is required to hold a driving licence. He/she also has to register in the system by means of a mobile app. Booking a car is also possible via www.vozilla.pl
- when your data are verified and your app is active, you receive information about cars available in the nearest area. You book a car, confirm the rental and the service is ready for use.
- keys will not be necessary. The app can be used for opening and locking a car. It also allows you to check the battery charge level and the estimated range of the car. If you want to get off for a few minutes, you do not have to terminate your rental. You can choose the parking mode.
- remember that you do not have to leave the car at a special station; it can be parked at a legal place in a designated area in compliance with road traffic rules. In addition, VOZILLA has designated parking places in the strict city centre.
- all vehicles available under the VOZILLA Municipal Car Sharing System of Electric Cars are insured.
- the price per rental of a Nissan Leaf or Nissan eNV200 vehicle in the VOZILLA system: 1 PLN per minute (price per one minute of a ride), 10 groszy per minute (price per one minute of parking).
In order to use the Traficar service, you have to be more than 18 years’ old, have a payment card, a valid driving licence and a smartphone.
Important: to use a vehicle in the Traficar system, you have to fill in the registration form in a mobile app available on Android and iOS platforms or at www.traficar.pl. After the verification of your personal data, you become an active participant of the program.
How does it work?
- the next step is to book one of the vehicles available on the map. You will have 15 minutes to reach it; if you run out of time, you can prolong your booking by 5 minutes.
- open the car by means of the app, scan the QR code visible on the window of the car and the door opens in a moment. After removing the card or keys from the special magnetic socket in the compartment, you can get on the road.
- in order to terminate the service, it is enough to invoke a command in the app, and the system will check necessary closing parameters. An e-mail with a summary of the ride is sent to the submitted e-mail address. Payment is automatically collected from the attached payment card; you do not have to leave the car in a designated place.
- price: the minimum charge per kilometre is 80 groszy. An extra fee of 50 groszy per 1 minute of rental is also charged. If you leave the car in the parking mode, you will pay only minimum 10 groszy per minute; this will allow you to do a few things in various parts of the city during one ride. An average 10-minute ride by Traficar vehicles on a 5 km section costs minimum 9 PLN.
100 white & green electric scooters ride on the streets of Wroclaw every day.
In order to use them, you need to download an app, register your account in the GoScooter system and pay at least 10 PLN HERE. It is best to do this one day before your planned visit to Wroclaw.
How does it work?
- if you are at least 18 years’ old, you do not need a driving licence to use GoScooter;
- scooters are equipped with an electric display, an USB socket, a spacious luggage box or a comfortable safety helmet with a cover and certification;
- the range of a scooter with the maximum battery charge level (with a capacity of 30 AH) is around 60 km. You can check the current range of each vehicle before renting it in your app.
- prices: 49 groszy per each started minute; 9 groszy per minute – parking charge (if you want to go to a shop, you park and lock the scooter and it will be waiting for you).
The blinkee.city service has 75 modern two-person premium vehicles. Shapely, easy-to-drive and low-noise vehicles are a convenient way of moving around the city.
In order to use them, you have to download a blinkee.city app and register in the system (your payment card number and a photo of your identity card will be required). To make sure that all formalities are completed, it is best to register in the system at least one day before visiting Wroclaw.
How does it work?
- the first step is to find the location of a scooter in the app. Scooters have no designated docking places, so you can find them at various points within the borders of their designated zone.
- after choosing a vehicle, you can book it remotely for 15 minutes;
- after reaching the scooter, you unlock it by means of the app;
- in the luggage box, there will be two helmets with disposable hygienic liners;
- prices: minimum 59 groszy per minute; for students – minimum 50 groszy; the parking time costs minimum 9 groszy per minute; the maximum charge per day is 69 PLN.
