Galeria BB, or glassware from Wrocław
The gallery has been present at Jatki (3–6) for more than ten years now, the venue featuring glassware wonders that are a veritable pride of Wrocław and the region.
The glassware on display ranges from barrel-shaped and multi-coloured specimens by Studio Borowski (based in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki) to minuscule glass angels by Monika Rubaniuk, a Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts graduate, or glass epergnes by Ida Huk-Dąbrówka. The gallery also features works by celebrated artists such as Patrycja Dubiel (glassware), Małgorzata Mitka (glass art), Magdalena Kucharska (glass art), as well as Anna Malicka-Zamorska (sculpture, ceramics), and Anna Gałuszka (ceramics). Visitors can also purchase a variety of glass sculptures, glassware for home (wine glasses, glasses, dinner service sets), stained glass (angels and animals, including Christmas reindeer, snowmen and penguins).
Prices
Christmas decorations (in various shapes, including glass Christmas baubles) are available from 20 PLN, glass animals from 35–100 zł, glassware for home 40–200 PLN (beautifully decorated glasses for 19 PLN), jewellery for 25–130 PLN and framed glass paintings for 80–120 PLN. Galeria BB (Jatki 3-6) is open daily from 12 pm to 6 pm.
