2019 Wrocław Respect scarves

The show starts at 8:00 p.m., but entrance to the zone near the stage is possible already from 7:30 p.m. – all gates will be opened at that time. The first participants of the party will receive commemorative scarves.

4 x New Year

On 31^st December, we will welcome the New Year every hour – at 9:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m. and obviously at midnight. On full hours, participants of Wroclaw Respect will count down the time till midnight along with inhabitants of world regions where midnight starts at that time. Names and flags of 107 countries of the world that will party along with Wroclaw inhabitants at the same time will be shown.

Stage design

When you come to the Market Square, you will see the longest catwalk in Poland connecting the stage with the fountain, inside which reflectors, lamps, lasers, stroboscopes and smoke machines will be placed. A few dozen dancers and acrobats will perform in the fountain. The Plac Gołębi square will turn into one big disco with a ball that will presumably reach imposing dimensions in Wroclaw.

Star: The Village People The biggest Y.M.C.A. in Europe

Victor Willis – the author and performer of such great hits as Y.M.C.A., Go West, Macho Man and In the Navy – will fly from Los Angeles to Wroclaw along with a band of several persons. Dancers will perform on stage in legendary costumes of an Indian, a policeman, a motorcyclist, a soldier and a builder. Ten years ago, the Americans gathered 40,000 spectators at the stadium in order to perform a choreographed dance to this hit together. During the approaching New Year’s Eve, the Village People will celebrate the 40^th anniversary of this hit. Wroclaw inhabitants will try to attack the European record – the organisers also want to gather 40,000 people to dance with the band around the city hall.

Superwoman Kayah

Prawy do lewego, Supermenka, Po co – these are the favourite party hits of the whole Poland. The famous vocalist has chosen to participate in Wroclaw Respect this year – she will be partying with us.

100 performers of the Wroclaw Respect Orchestra

Musicians, choir, vocalists, dancers, choir – over 100 persons altogether. This great band will create an incredible setting of the party from the very beginning till 1:00 a.m. The repertoire will consist of popular, recognised and anticipated hits: from Pink Floyd to Bruno Mars.

Energetic vocalists from Wroclaw and Poland known from TV talent shows have been invited to perform great hits. Among them there will be: Natalia Lubrano, Aro Kłusowski, Anna Maria Mbayo, Daniel Moszczyński, Marta Kołodziejczyk, Mikołaj Woubishet, Kasia Mirowska.

Maciej Turowski – a DJ known from sports arenas – will play club hits, jingles and special effects for everybody.

The crowd of many thousand people will be inspired to sign and dance together by the Wroclaw MC and radio & TV presenter Paweł Gołębski.
