Tourist attractions and the friendly atmosphere created by the inhabitants are the primary advantages of Wroclaw – at the ITB Berlin International Tourist Fair, representatives of the capital of Lower Silesia will encourage visitors to arrive in Wroclaw.

The six-day ITB Berlin International Tourist Fair started in the capital of Germany on Tuesday. It is the biggest European event for representatives of the tourism industry and an attraction for thousands of visitors.

Wroclaw is participating in ITB Berlin (at the Polish National Stand in Hall 15.1) to remain recognisable for foreign partners and to sustain the popularity of the city among travel agencies and tourists themselves.

“Inhabitants play an important role in the promotion of tourism and the city. The atmosphere created by them is the best invitation to Wroclaw. This is what we want to attract tourists with," says Radosław Michalski, Director of the City and Tourism Promotion Office.

At Wroclaw’s stand, visitors can learn more about the rich tourist and cultural offer of the city. It is presented in interesting materials promoting the city (folders, brochures, leaflets, maps, promotional videos) and its most important tourist and cultural attractions, including the Hydropolis, the National Music Forum, the Aquapark, the Centennial Hall and the Cognitive Centre, the Racławice Panorama, the Africarium and the Zoo.

During the fair, many meetings with representatives of the tourism industry and journalists are planned. The programme of presentations and tourist attractions is carried out on stage throughout the fair.
