During Easter, tourist can visit a few Wroclaw attractions.

Zoo and Africarium

Zoo Wroclaw is open all year round without any exceptions – on all days of the week and year, on all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

The Wroclaw zoo is the oldest in Poland and has a rich collection of animals. It is home to 14,000 animals, which represent over 1,000 species. The biggest attraction of the Zoo is Africarium – an oceanarium that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. It is the world’s only oceanarium devoted only to the fauna of Africa.

Japanese Garden

After the winter break, the Japanese Garden will be open again in Park Szczytnicki. It is an exceptional place created out of admiration for the Japanese garden art in co-operation with specialists from the Land of the Cherry Blossoms. The history of this place is over 100 years old, dating back to 1913, when the World Exhibition was held in the Centennial Hall.

The season starts on 1st April. The garden is open to visitors from the beginning of April till the end of October (from 9 am till 7 pm). On Easter, it will be open as usual. Tickets: 4 PLN full price / 2 PLN discount price

Botanical Garden

On Monday 2 April, at 12 pm, the Botanical Garden of the University of Wroclaw will be open again after the winter break.

We will be welcomed by early spring flowers, such as snowdrops, hepatica, yellow fields of winter aconites, or increasingly popular hellebores in beautiful varieties from various parts of Europe. At this time of the year, the alpinarium with the broadest array of spring flower colours looks particularly attractive. It is also worth visiting greenhouses, where, among tropical plants from Asia, Africa and South America, we can see papaya or banana plants bearing tasty fruit. There are also blooming orchids, some of them unusually fragrant. After seven years of cultivation, one of the agarwood species bloomed magnificently.

Ticket offices are open from 9 am till 6 pm.

The garden is available to visitors till 8 pm from May to August and till 7 pm in other months.

Kolejkowo – railway mock-up

The Wrocław Main Square with faithfully reproduced tenement houses, the Świebodzki Railway Station and blocks of flats at ul. Żmigrodzka. In the centre there is the Kolejkowo.pl station with a replica of the Szwajcarka hostel. In the second part, we can watch Karpacz and Śnieżka mountains with a faithfully reproduced astronomical observatory.

Open all year round, also on Sundays and holidays from 10 am till 6 pm.
